How to Make Successful Fundraising Videos: Taking Development Marketing to a New Level

Laurie Nivison, Director of Marketing, Historic Deerfield

Laurie Nivison will address the use of videos from the perspective of a marketing director who has worked with both Fulton and Shipley to produce videos for Historic Deerfield. She will speak to the power of video and its effectiveness in shaping an organization's messaging as it pertains to marketing and development initiatives.  

Mark Shipley, Strategy Director, Wanderlust Marketing

Mark Shipley will share current trends in the effective use of video on websites and social media, as well as the do's and don'ts of successful video messaging. He will share the analytics of what works, what doesn't, and what organizations should do to improve their impact with donors. 

Rawn Fulton, President, Searchlight Films

Rawn Fulton will describe the process of how successful fundraising films and videos are planned and produced.  His decades of film making experience include producing fundraising and marketing films directed at donors and supporters of a wide range of nonprofit organizations from small shops to major NGOs.
