Advancement Data Analyst

The Advancement office at Northfield Mount Hermon is looking to fill a campaign position that will work with the Director of Advancement Strategy and Analysis to define, design, and build reporting that will enhance Advancement management and decision making. The person in this roll will be responsible for the timely preparation of all mailing, email, and other lists. This person will also be responsible for building, testing, and sending all bulk emails. In all situations, the Advancement Data Analyst will work closely with the Senior Associate Director of Advancement Services to ensure consistency and quality of work.

The successful applicant will have a Bachelor’s degree or higher; at least 2 years of data analysis experience, preferably in a fundraising environment and at least 2 years experience with data analysis tools, including significant experience writing SQL select statements. Candidates must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the ability to formulate data queries and utilize on-line print and other resources to gather information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google products preferred and experience with Raiser’s Edge, Crystal Reports, HTML and CSS is preferable. Additional qualifications include the ability to work collaboratively with a team, as well as being a self-starter capable of working independently.
