Chamberlain Scholarship to the AFP International Conference: This scholarship is for current AFP Members who have never attended an AFP International Conference. The Scholarship covers early-bird tuition for the conference. The chapter's scholarship committee will review applications, which include an essay on why the applicant would like to attend the conference and what they hope to learn. The scholarship recipient is responsible for reporting back to the chapter after the conference, and writing a conference summary article for the chapter newsletter. Only candidates who submit all of the application materials by the deadline will be considered.

The AFP 2016 Diverse Communities Conference Scholarship The AFP Foundation for Philanthropy created a new scholarship fund for members of diverse communities to attend the AFP International Conference on Fundraising. This fund is broken out into three categories:
- African American
- Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgender (GLBT)
- General Diversity Fund
During AFP’s Diversity Scholarship Campaign, which ended on August 31, 2016, AFP raised funding for three (3) diversity scholarships for the 2013 Conference, as follows: One (1) General Diversity Scholarships (available to AFP members from any currently identified AFP diverse community; African American, Asian, Faith-based, GLBT, Hispanic, Jewish, or Rural), One (1) African American Scholarship and One (1) GLBT Scholarships.
AFP is now accepting applications for these diversity scholarships. Below is a link to the AFP Diversity Scholarship Application form, which resides in the Diversity section at www.afpnet.org.
Deadline for application submission is October 31, 2016. Completed applications should be emailed to Lori Gusdorf, AFP Membership Services, at email@example.com.
